Dude... imagine my fucking predicament. (Hello by the way! Excellent blog!) I was a confused 17-year-old r-tard who went to an expensive, unaccredited art-school. Now I'm finally at the doorstep of the field I NOW now I've always wanted to work in, and am having a *lot* of trouble moving up.

I'm the technology basement, IT Support. Windows desktops. 15,000 of them. Maybe an XServe here and there, and sure, I configure Cisco gear when I'm allowed access to the routers, but it's drudgery. I want to be where you are, developing software that has some useful and lasting purpose in someone's life or livelyhood. And, at the bottom of my resume, under Education, buried beneath Mission College, is: "Bachelor of Fine Arts. Film and New Media. Academy of Art University. 2003."

Fuck.

What do I do now?
